The core philosophy of DigiYato is to keep your data on your device. We utilize two distinct methods for processing your files, depending on the tool you select:

  • Client-Side Processing (Most Tools): Tools like our Image Converter, Resizer, and JPG to PDF converter run entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. When you use these tools, your files are never uploaded to our servers. The processing utilizes your device's memory, ensuring absolute privacy.
  • Cloud API Processing (Complex Tools): A few highly complex tools (such as the PowerPoint to PDF converter) cannot be processed reliably inside a web browser. In these specific cases, your file is temporarily sent to a secure, encrypted third-party API (ConvertAPI) for processing. The file is automatically deleted from the processing servers immediately after the conversion is completed. We do not permanently store your uploaded documents.

2. Information We Collect

To keep the platform running smoothly and provide customer support, we collect limited, non-intrusive data:

  • Basic Analytics: We use an internal, privacy-friendly analytics system (not third-party trackers) to monitor website health. We log basic data such as your IP address, general geographic location (City/Country), device type, and the pages you visit. This helps us understand which tools are popular and fix technical issues.
  • Support & Feedback Data: If you use our Live Chat or Feedback form, we collect the Name, Email Address, and the message you provide. This allows our support team to respond to your queries.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not hoard your data. Our backend systems are programmed with automatic cleanup protocols:

  • Chat and Feedback Records: Any data submitted through our Live Chat or Feedback forms is automatically and permanently deleted from our databases 30 days after being moved to the trash by our administrative team.
  • Converted Files: As mentioned, client-side files are never saved, and cloud-processed files are discarded immediately after the task is finished.
